The Baseball division(s) in which a child may play is determined by his/her age as defined by Cal Ripken League and Babe Ruth League rules. Those rules state that the League Age is determined by the child's age on April 30th of the baseball season. A child born on or after May 1 is one League year younger than a child born before May 1. However, players who were born in the Summer months may register as a SWING player so they can play with their grade-level peers. Intra-league Softball divisions are determined by school year so players play with their grade-level peers.

Minuteman Winter 2020 Hitting Clinic Deposit
The Minuteman hitting clinic is for any Westford player who will be on the big diamond in the Spring of 2020 with DOB between 9/1/2001 - 04/30/2007 and swing players DOB 05/01/2007 - 08/31/2007.
To sign up, FIRST please email Charlie Trantanella (tranti@comcast.net) with your 1st and 2nd choices for a time slot. We will do our best to accommodate your first request. Once we have confirmed your time slot you will officially reserve it with a $40 deposit via the registration system on the WYBSL site. That down payment will be sent to GameTime by WYBSL and you will pay the remaining $200 to ADAM MCCUSKER or KEN CONNERTY at your child's first session.
The program runs on Sundays from JANUARY 19th – MARCH 15th, with no clinic on February 16th. All players will participate in EIGHT 1-hour hitting sessions over that time. Sessions are run at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm. Time slots are given out on a first come, first served basis. Please select the time slot you prefer below. (If you want your child to be with his friends, please try and get the group of 3 kids together and then all sign up for the same time slot.) There are only 4 time slots available for each instructor (total of 8 slots for 24 players) for the 8 weeks so register quickly! Also, we will group players in each time slot by relative ability and age.

Pre-Tee Spring 2020
The Pre-Tee program is designed to be a player’s introduction to Tee-ball. Our emphasis will focus on skill development and sportsmanship through fun exercises and drills.
The activities have been designed to maximize player participation and the number of times players touch the ball, while also keeping them engaged. The beginning of the season will focus on the basic fundamentals of catching, throwing, hitting, base running and teamwork. As the season progresses, the players will have the opportunity to play games against each other in order to practice their developed skills.
Players will receive a hat and shirt, but will need their own appropriately sized softball glove. The purchase of a batting helmet is encouraged but not required.
A parent, guardian, or other responsible adult is expected to be present for their child throughout the program. Volunteers are always needed so don’t feel like you have to watch from the stands! Whether you know nothing about the sport or have played it a thousand times, you can participate with your child and enhance their experience.
