The Baseball division(s) in which a child may play is determined by his/her age as defined by Cal Ripken League and Babe Ruth League rules. Those rules state that the League Age is determined by the child's age on April 30th of the baseball season. A child born on or after May 1 is one League year younger than a child born before May 1. However, players who were born in the Summer months may register as a SWING player so they can play with their grade-level peers.  Intra-league Softball divisions are determined by school year so players play with their grade-level peers and travel softball league divisions are determined by birth year.

The current WYBSL COVID-19 Response Plan can be found on the Documents Page Under Parents & Players:  (https://www.leagueathletics.com/Documents.asp?org=wybsl.com)

Softball Pitching Clinic September 20th

DUE TO STATE LIMITS ON GROUP SIZE, WE MUST CAP THE NUMBER OF PITCHERS WHO CAN ATTEND BASED ON THE NUMBER OF COACHES AVAILABLE EACH WEEK.  Pitchers must sign up here by 7:00pm Saturday September 19th to be able to attend on SUNDAY.

WYBSL will be hosting Summer Pitching Clinics instructed by Jen Hoar, Juliana Arnolds, and Jr Pitching Coaches.   This is a free clinic open to any softball player that is interested in learning how to pitch or wants to work on the skills they already have.

This signup is for the Pitching Clinic on September 20th, will last one hour (4:00pm to 5:00pm), located on G7 at 15 River Road, Westford.

Every pitcher should bring their glove, their rip-it/face mask, lots of water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a good, positive learning attitude.  Pitchers should also bring a catcher, whether that be a parent or teammate.  Participants (pitchers and catchers) must now bring hand santizer and a face covering for their mouth and nose for use while interacting with the coach.

We will supply "softie" softballs.
